A.O.C. : Rivesaltes Tuilé

Variety : Grenache Noir 100 %

Yield : Between 20 and 25 hectolitre/hectare

Altitude : Between 250 and 350 m

Aspect : Southeast facing land

Soil : Sandy-clay soil developed over black schist, shiny schist and gneiss from the Agly mountains

District : Vines located near Força Real

Vinification : Hand picked harvest. Destalking, then thermo-regulated fermentation and fermentation stopped (fortification) in part on free run juice and on the grapes.

Ageing : Between 2 and 3 years in oak barrels. Blend of different vintages.

Tasting : Fresh on the nose, complex aromas of red fruit (Burlat cherry), fig and crushed strawberry can be detected. Fresh and spicy on the palate, revealing cinnamon, pepper and blond tobacco aromas. The delicious finish gives us aromas of cocoa, fruitiness (blackberry, fig) and damson.

Serving : Between 12 and 15°C

Accompaniments : As an aperitif and to accompany melon, caramelised fig tart and vanilla ice cream.
